Middle East News

Few news networks devote any prominent coverage to the Middle East, sans the daily ‘terrorist’ attack/alert – Here’s some broader, further reaching daily news for your consumption. The Syrian conflict is, sadly, at the forefront of this month’s Middle East news though, with recent additions being heightened tension with Turkey and the publications of documents indicting the Assad government to state-sponsored torture.

And in Egypt, Muhammad Morsi has been sworn in as the country’s first democratically elected president in over six thousand years of history.  But many are skeptical he will keep his promises in the coming months.
