The UW-Madison Human Rights Initiative invites students to a seminar on ”Innovative Advocacy Campaigns” related to human rights in the 21st century. Guest speakers include David Petrasek, who helped design the Amnesty International Dignity Campaign; Michael Feher, a French philosopher who established an NGO in France to counter anti-immigrant policies; Bridget Conley-Zilkic, who works for the Committee on Conscience at the Holocaust Museum; and Fuyuki Kurasawa, who looks at the role of technology in human rights activism.
Admission is free, and bagels and coffee will be provided.
