Two young people living within the Occupied Territories fall in love. Their struggles are staged within but not exclusively by the ravages of occupation. Palestine-Israel is not just about the inhumanity of colonial authority; it is also a touching, naive, and tense engagement between two different communities living in the Occupied Territories as seen and lived out in a love story between a Palestinian boy and a seemingly “foreign/gypsy” (neither Jewish or Arab) community defined in Arabic as both unclean and lower class.
Languages: Arabic and Hebrew
