The UW-Madison Muslim Student Association is sponsoring Islam Awarness Week April 13th -18th:

Monday, April 13th: Experience the Muslim World with the Islamic Cultural Bazaar, 6:30-9pm in the Chadbourne Main Lounge

Tuesday, April 14th: Lecture: ‘Who Speaks for Islam?’ by Dalia Mogahed of the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies.  The lecture will be held in the Morgidge Auditorium in Grainger Hall at 7:30pm.

Wednesday, April 15th: ‘Hijab for a Day.’ Wear a hijab around campus all day and then come share your experiences at a panel of Muslim speakers at 7pm in the Memorial Union Great Hall.  If you do not own a hijab, you may borrow one by coming to the Monday or Tuesday events.

Thursday, April 16th: Screening of the Movie ‘Traitor’ starring Don Cheadle, Carson’s Upper Gulley in Lakeshore at 7:30pm. Free Food!

Friday, April 17th: Stand up comedy and a movie with Aman Ali. Philips Louge, Ogg Hall at 7:30pm

Saturday, April 18th: Open House at the Islamic Center of Madison Area (21 North Orchard Street).  At night help fight poverty by coming to the Orphan Sponsorship Dinner at the Eagle Heights Community Center (611 Eagle Heights) at 6pm.  The event is sponsored by Islamic Relief and UW Project Downturn.
